we established a natural visible and infrared facial expression database, which contains both spontaneous and posed expressions of more than 100 subjects, recorded simultaneously by a visible and an infrared thermal camera, with illumination provided from three different directions. The posed database also includes expression image sequences with and without glasses.

The SEMAINE corpus consists of emotionally coloured conversations. Users were recorded while holding conversations with an operator who adopts in sequence four roles designed to evoke emotional reactions. The operator and the user are seated in separate rooms; they see each other through teleprompter screens, and hear each other through speakers. To allow high [...] [...]

The IDIAP Head-Pose database contains data that can be used to investigate human head pose from video. It combine data from cameras showing one or more heads of participants, as well as information about their head pose, as measured by 3D location and orientation trackers. In October 2003 this head pose video database was built [...] [...]

The MMI-Facial Expression Database is a fully web-searchable collection of visual and audio-visual recordings of subjects displaying a facial expression. Although most recordings show facial expressions shown on command (posed expressions), recently recordings of spontaneous facial expressions have been added. The database consists of frontal, profile, and dual-view videos, and frontal-view high-resolution images.

The Salient Point Detector is a binary implementation of the system described in this paper. It finds spatio-temporal salient points in an image sequence, and therefore takes a directory with an image sequence in png format as input. Some time/scale parameters need to be specified too. Read the included README.txt for more information. The package [...] [...]
